$5 1995 Recoloured Portfolio Issue
Signatures
Governor - Bernard William 'Bernie' Fraser
Secretary To The Treasury - Edward Alfred 'Ted' Evans
Here are the two notes of $5 re coloured portfolio issue. The first $5 polymer note was first introduced on 17 July 1992 and the re coloured $5 was issued on 24 April 1995. The decision to re coloured the $5 note was mainly due to reports by the public that the note can be mistaken as the polymer $10 (or vise verse) in poor light conditions.
